Press release on the change of SHS Chief of Executive Officer

On February 2, 2024, the Board of Directors of Saigon - Hanoi Securities JSC (SHS) signed and issued a Decisions approving the dismissal of the positions of CEO and Legal Representative hold by Mr. Tien, Vu Duc according to his own personal wishes; and the appointment of Mr. Thanh, Nguyen Chi - SHS Deputy CEO - to hold the position of SHS CEO - Legal Representative.

The change of The CEO and Legal Representative of the Company will take effect upon approval by the State Securities Commission.

Mr. Tien Vu Duc, with his over-30-years-of-experience in the financial sector has always accompanied SHS and its development journey since the first days of its establishment till now. He was officially assingned the position of SHS CEO since September 15, 2014. After 10 years as SHS Leader, Mr. Tien has given the right and drastic direction and made great contributions to SHS achieving today's achievements, bringing the Company's scale to become one of 6 certified company securities with the largest charter capital in the market. After a long time working together, Mr. Tien wished to take a leave of absence to seek medical treatment. Temporarily suspending his position as SHS CEO, Mr. Tien, Vu Duc continues to serve as a Member of SHS Board of Directors and a Shareholder.

Then, SHS Board of Directors has trusted to select and appoint Mr. Thanh, Nguyen Chi - currently SHS Deputy CEO - as SHS Chief of Executive. All administrative and executive work within the scope of the CEO at SHS will be assigned to Mr. Thanh from February 5, 2024 until the State Securities Commission officially approves.

With a background of Master of Business Administration - Boston University (USA), Bachelor of Foreign Economics - Hanoi Foreign Trade University, Mr. Thanh, Nguyen Chi has more than 15 years of experience in the field of securities, finance, investment, asset management.

He has held the position of SHS Deputy CEO since May 5, 2014, and is currently Head of SHS Representative Office in Hai Phong, and served as Director of HCMC Branch for many years before.

With extensive experience and extensive professional knowledge, Mr. Thanh and other members of the Board of Management have deployed many new products and services, conversion projects, upgrades, and consolidation of the apparatus and platform technology; which improves SHS competitiveness and quality of services and products, brings many achievements to the whole Compayny, achieves the strategic goals set out by the SHS GSM & BOD.

With the above change, SHS Board of Executives includes Mr. Thanh, Nguyen Chi - CEO, Mr. Tien, Tran Sy - Deputy CEO cum Chief Accountant and Ms. Thanh, Tran Thi Thu - Deputy CEO.

Regarding business results: In 2023, SHS recorded a total annual revenue of 1,465 billion VND, equivalent to 75.4% of the plan, profit before tax was 684.2 billion VND, 3.46 times higher than in 2022, corresponding to 62% of the plan.

Total assets as of December 31, 2023 reached VND 11,457 billion, an increase of 5.1% compared to the beginning of the year. SHS is in the Top 10 most profitable securities companies in the market in 2023.
