SHS Chairman and SHB Vice Chairman - Mr. Do Quang Vinh Named Among Top 10 Outstanding Entrepreneurs at the Red Star Awards 2025

On November 26, the Red Star Awards – Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs 2025 ceremony was held in Hanoi. Mr. Do Quang Vinh, SHS Chairman and SHB Vice Chairman, was honored among the Top 10 Outstanding Entrepreneurs at this year’s Red Star Awards.

The Red Star Awards is a prestigious award organized every three years under the auspices of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Central Committee. The award recognizes outstanding young entrepreneurs for their achievements in business leadership, as well as their contributions to socio-economic development and the community.

The selection process consists of three rounds: preliminary screening, on-site assessment at the candidate’s enterprise, and final selection. This year, the program continued to recognize the Top 100 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs, with the 10 most outstanding entrepreneurs receiving the Red Star Award.

Born in 1989, Mr. Do Quang Vinh is recognized as one of the prominent young leaders in Vietnam’s financial and banking sector. With an innovative mindset, dynamic leadership style, and strategic vision, he is leading the comprehensive transformation of SHB and SHS toward greater digitalization, modernization, and international integration, with the ambition of building leading financial institutions in the region.

Before taking on leadership roles at SHB, Mr. Do Quang Vinh studied and worked overseas, gaining extensive experience in financial management, investment, and corporate leadership. With a young, creative, and decisive leadership style, he has brought new momentum to SHB and SHS, with a strong focus on developing young talent, applying financial technology, and expanding strategic cooperation with international partners.

After just nine months of 2025, SHS had already achieved and exceeded 100% of its full-year plan, while total assets increased by 57% year on year. Notably, in August 2025, SHS surpassed USD 1 billion in market capitalization for the first time. This symbolic milestone marked the company’s growing scale and market recognition of its financial strength and development prospects.

Alongside its financial performance, SHS received an A rating with a Stable Outlook from VIS Rating in its first-ever assessment. The company was also recognized among the Best Companies to Work for in Asia by HR Asia for two consecutive years and named among the Top 10 Green ESG Enterprises in Vietnam 2025 in the Finance – Securities sector, among other recognitions.

Meanwhile, SHB ranks among Vietnam’s Top 5 largest private joint-stock commercial banks by charter capital and among the Top 10 most reputable private joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam, according to Vietnam Report. SHB was also named among the Top 200 companies in Southeast Asia by Fortune (US).
